ALCOA World Alumina
Alcoa has been mining, refining and smelting in Australia since 1963. Alcoa is a major producer of alumina and aluminium in Australia and also has interests in power generation, rolled products and bauxite mining.
  Alintagas
Alinta is an operator, manager and part owner of regulated energy assets worth approximately $4 billion. These assets include Alinta's natural gas distribution network in WA (Perth and major regional centres in the south-west), United Energy's electricity distribution network in Melbourne's heavily populated south-east, and the Multinet Gas network that services Melbourne's east.
  Conservation Commission of Western Australia
The Conservation Commission is responsible for the preparation of proposed Forest Management Plans through the agency of DEC acting jointly with the Forest Products Commission (FPC), and for submitting the proposed FMP to the Minister for the Environment and heritage for approval. DEC is responsible for implementing and complying with the approved FMP. The FPC must also comply with the approved FMP. The Conservation Commission will assess and audit the performance of DEC and the FPC in carrying out and complying with the management plans.
  Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) - formerly CALM
The Department of Environment and Conservation is part of a greater conservation community and has distinct State government responsibilities for implementing Government policy within that community. Conservation is a collective role. We have the lead responsibility for conserving the State's rich diversity of native plants, animals and natural ecosystems, and many of its unique landscapes. On behalf of the people of Western Australia, we manage more than 24 million hectares, including more than nine per cent of WA's land area: its national parks, marine parks, conservation parks, regional parks, State forests and timber reserves, nature reserves, and marine nature reserves.
  Department of Environmental Protection
The DEP's key roles are in resources assessment and allocation, coupled with strong environmental protection powers and will ensure sustainable use of resources for responsible development.
  Forest Products Commission
The Forest Products Commission (FPC) is a Government trading enterprise established to develop and market Western Australia's renewable timber resources. In addition to growing millions of seedlings every year, we are investing in research and development - to secure the greatest possible returns on a variety of commercial species including eucalypt sawlogs, maritime pine, sandalwood, jarrah and marri.
  Main Roads Western Australia
Main Roads is Western Australia's State road authority, managing a network of some 17,500 kilometres of National Highways and State Roads with a value of more than $10 billion. Main Roads works in conjunction with Local Government and its local road network in order to create an integrated and efficient transport network that supports the needs of all road users.
  Water and Rivers Commission
The Water and Rivers Commission works closely with all levels of government, industry and the community to protect and manage Western Australia's water resources, including wetlands, rivers, estuaries, inlets and groundwater water.

Western Power is Western Australia's leading energy Corporation.
 

Worsley Alumina
The Worsley Alumina facility in south-west Western Australia is one of the world's most efficient alumina refineries. The facility has relied on a Schneider Electric Modicon hardware-based control system since it began operations in the early 1980s.
